Cool, within that [same] snopes response to why it was saying false:

"Where did the tradition of getting down upon’s one knee to propose marriage come from, then? While its not definitive as a historical truth because of no known documents are established that is the case, it's still posited as a possibility. Which is exactly where most of our slang comes from, probable explanations to explain things.

However, i'm not disagreeing and I thank you for that response, I learned something so therefor thank you.

"arrow to the knee" is a reference to getting married. Whether it should be used in this context or the author actually knows the background of the saying in the context that is presented is debatable.
