She probably meant as the actions of Sang-won has affected her deeply which they have. His actions have mainly been the cause for her to come out of her shell even if he was angry about it.

@jak She is definitely deceased. Sang-Won's father said that she passed and his continuing love for her is the reason he won't remarry, which is the whole reason he gave for pushing this fianceé thing.

On another note, I would disagree with Ma-Ri. The father is likely the nicest man she's met since moving out (sometimes to the point of being too nice and enabling, all at the cost of Sang-Won suffering).
