The whole family was fun to see. The mom is kind of like our MC if she could break out of her shyness and act friendly with everyone, not just the people closest to her. Dad reminds me of the one from Komi-san, whispering behind the newspaper and having someone interpret for him. Her little brother is 11-12 years old if he's a 6th grader, and he's already that tall so I wonder if he has trouble fitting in like his sister did/still does. Then that dog. Looks like a battle scarred pack leader or something.

The mother is the best girl.
