There wasn't much of a plot before though, I kept wondering what the point of it all was. Now at least there's a hint of it (even though I do agree that it seems contrived).
Kinme's friend is pretty funny.

I wouldn't mind a romance, but I would prefer if it was more subtle and organic than "woops accidental kissu" being the catalyst for it all.

Also yeah, definitely more ass shots and whatnot in recent chapter it feels. Can't argue that sex sells, but I feel like this series doesn't need that (as in, it would be better without it, but probably sales-wise it wouldn't last)

@Radicool21 a thousand times yes. I'm wondering if it was some editor input that was conditional for it getting picked up. After it was serialized it became slightly ecchi and she instantly fell for the random
self-insert nondescript high school kid. Really disappointing shift.

Honestly I liked the series better before the romance bait. “Age gap + an unrealistic romcom-style-fall —> indirect kiss through a mask” makes a super contrived reason for her to be reacting like that. An unrequited crush from the high-school boy would be more in line with the bittersweet tone of the manga IMO.

Plus the fact that neither of their faces are swelling up/bandaged from hitting each other headfirst after falling off a ladder. Just weird for a series that’s otherwise realistic.

That waitress is the girl have a brother right ? but wasn't she more loudly than this. I though she would talk like the blonde one too. Maybe not, it quite of long since that chapters
