@Pixi97 What are you talking about? We didn’t drop this series. We’ve been updating our progress on chapter 20 on our website as we work. |

@Guspaz Thanks for all of your work. edited: I edited, because I said some idiot things which come from misunderstanding something, and I don't want to mislead someone with that. So I deleted those sentences. Last edited 6 mo ago by Pixi97. |

@Oeconomist Even if I wanted to (and I don't, particularly), we've actually translated all of that series already. It looks like it was canceled, as we're now in the sixth month with no updates since chapter 1 was released by the Japanese publisher. It's either been canceled or put on some sort of indefinite hiatus. |

I don't mind this story at all. It carries on not unlike One Punch Man, and hijinks are wacky when fights happen. The MC is so far above it all that he ends up just not really caring, which is fitting for a long-lived sage. The worst part of it is easily the spoiled ojou. Arrogant assholes that unjustifiably throw their weight around were annoying in One Punch Man and it's annoying here. That doesn't mean it's necessarily a bad thing, and she's certainly one of the reasons any developments happen at all, but the story would be a lot more enjoyable without her around for sure. At this point, her being knocked off her high horse wouldn't just be welcome, it would be a catharsis befitting an arc villain. |

@MaTu94 So you mean a series like One Punch Man, where the MC is quite literally a blank slate and apathetic towards the events around him, and the story/events gets carried by the side characters that represent a cliche, and the main characters play an ex-machina, right? Don't pin this down as the author's poor writing, it's not. It's not a terrible series, this just didn't live up to your expectations. Just say that, it would still be understandable. The MC of this series was literally absent from civilization and the world itself for 500 years. He comes back and just becomes the guard of a barrenness. Please explain to me, what political standing or influence should he have over the world of the manga itself. What reason would he have to do anything beyond the events that have coincidentally fallen upon him, thus far? He's beaten the hero, does that mean he should be the hero instead? Your idea of criticism is that you dislike the direction the author takes his story and describe them as flaws. A flaw would be an inconsistency in the writing, like a plot hole, an unmotivated plot twist, an unreasonable power up, etc. If your main argument is that you dislike the MC being boring while the series itself is telling you that, then you're mistaken. If your argument is beyond that, then please. Take your next comment to explain that because you clearly failed to do so in your previous one. P.S Nobody is trying to be smart, nobody claimed to be, the fact you exclaimed something as such shows your own insecurity. I just wanted to point out the fact people have forgotten that the main character is supposed to be boring. |

@DeerA— Okay, but there was an announcement that your team was not going to continue translating it in any event. I'm looking to wheedle you into changing your minds. |

@Corachea04: Yes, chapter 19 is the latest chapter. Check out our blog for progress on our series, we list when the next chapter is released in Japan. @Oeconomist: There are no more manga chapters of OmaeGotoki to translate. Only 1 chapter has been released in Japan. |

@OsoJr There's a difference between boring and apathetic, it's not the same to have average opinions and reactions than to have barely any opinion and reaction, and if the author wants to make the other characters move the plot he should at least try to make them other thing than clichés. It's not an excuse for bad writing to say he did announce he was going to make a shit story beforehand. Even the events are average at most, if you want to give a twist to your story making MC less relevant you have to compensate. Btw saying other people are "wanna be critics" when you yourself just made a poor reading of their comments and thus proved to be one (with poor understanding skills to top it off) is not the way to seem smart. . . |

@m4ng4 what do you mean? the reason is on earlier chapter maybe he sworn loyalty or maybe not, whatever it is I think he'll wait until Rain is an adult to decide things for the future. I did read some spoilers on earlier chapter's comment section but I forgot lol |

@Guspaz— I offer a theory that MoD could overcome bad karma and have its hit-points restored by returning to the translation of Do You Think Someone Like You Could Defeat the Demon Lord? |

@OsoJr— As has been noted in the past, people want and have some reason to expect irony in a title that declares its main character to be boring. |
