Who's paying for what? It's a free wecomic and Chinese comics are often kept short.

I dont wan't to sound ungrateful or anything, but why the hell are the chapters so short? Is this a free web comic? Otherwise i don't see anyone who would want to pay for each chapter, atleast in my opinion.
