Hybrid Mom doesn't seem so hybrid, but going by the perspective she's quite tall(which would fall inline with what we know of Legosi, who is larger than any wolf should be, at only 1/4 Komodo)

However being huge shouldn't be something that's inherently bad, after all bears and elephants are still things, so my guess is it's something to do with the venom thing.

And as a side note, did we ever learn what happened to Legosi's father?
