Eh, fighting a dad is a ridiculous way to determine suitability. Whether he treats her right and can take care of her is a better measure. Sure this is a gag comic, but it's still kind of off feeling.

Some of the strongest, richest, most famous, and smart guys in the world aren't a good match for a woman because they'll ditch her as soon as they're bored, and cheat constantly even if they "stay" with her. Real strength (for marriage at least) is strength of character. Especially if a woman wants a guy who won't ditch her as soon as he hits a mid life crisis and he sees that his wife has aged and hasn't lost all of her baby weight, has stretch marks now, the beginnings of sag / wrinkles, her hair is thinning out, her personality's bland and lost its sparkle because working + kids (or even just the kids) has tired her out into a hollow husk of a former human being, etc.

Also, it helps if he really actually loves the girl. That's the key. That dad's being really short sighted.

Just make tomo's mom fight his dad the night before his fight against Jun. This will settle everything!

Kinda disappointed to see them going with the flow as well, I was hoping for them to finally point out the stupidity of the situation, instead they turn Jun into the butt of the joke as usual... Sigh, we're really doing this match then, huh?

Author better power up Jun quickly, or extend the length of the series/final volume. We're over 80 chapters into Vol.8, which was supposed to be the last one, and each volume only has about 120 chapters.

This is when Jun challenges her dad to videogames and is finally able to use his Gamer Boy powers for good.

Tomo, you wanna date Jun. You should help by also punching your dad.

Ah yes, the Jun embraces his inner tree ending, though I suppose that might be considered under #5. (Trees are also male or female, though... it leaves us with the disquieting possibility of continuing this manga with a tree version of everyone.)
