I appreciate the justification for why the protagonist was chosen to be the fourth member in a party of cute girls. In other fantasy manga it usually boils down to "hes the MC and audience self-insert so of course he gets a harem of waifus" but it actually makes sense here. Hurray for half-decent writing.

WOW This got super exciting (And still funny at the start) !!! nice

@BasilD You're not wrong, but that is not all it means, depending on the position of the tail, it may also mean that the cat is being cautious or simply paying attention.
Avatar
@BasilD I think my cat feels comfortable when I scratch its belly.
Avatar
I might be wrong about what kind of beastman Mii is, but isn't a cats tail wagging a sign of discomfort and anxiety?
Avatar
The faces are all great, and the characters are all quite likable. This is nice so far.

I...don't think cats wag their tails like that, so maybe Mii is a different creature?

uhoh

also this is great

He just gonna cast sleep on Satsuki next chapter right?
@PandaMoni I laughed every time Cyrille do a reaction face lmao. This MC and MC from Seiken-chan are golden ๐Ÿ˜†

@Kamikoto
Yeah so it's even possible that the artist "Arima Sayaka" is writing that himself, maybe he wanted to give some depth
or so it happens much later in the novel
Avatar
Wow, that was a sudden darkish turn.

I'm totally loving the reaction faces of the girls in this manga. Cyrille especially with her disdain of other male adventurers and her "Right. Yeah, sure." cracked me up. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Satsuki too with her blockheadedness and Mii with how pettable she is... There isn't any fanservice here but the characters are all so good to follow! Together with MC being such a pure boy...

@Gauvain I'd love to give you a more detailed explanation, but I have no idea. It literally only says that aura doesn't decrease unlike mana. I tried to look it up in the webnovel but it seems like the whole conversation didn't even happen there.
Avatar
@Cypher27
that would be an even worse explanation
a free energy and especially without limit, infinite use
it's like saying that a person would not need to eat and drink to live.

it's another world, but it's not a reason to give such an important advantage

technically it's even worse because the person just does not need anything else (no need to breathe, sun to make vitamin D

"it's nice how it doesen't run out like mana." this sentence is problematic it would merit further explanation
the energy does not leave the body (except in the form of energy loss "heat" and the movement created)
the corp recover Aura from the same external source as the Mana
so for the same person more energy is consumed in the case of a spell
the quality of the body is also important, otherwise a mage would just have to do a spell on himself
and in this case the energy will also be used as AURA is

IF YOU TOUCH MC'S NEW HOUSE CAT ONE MORE TIEM HE'LL SLICE YOUR BAZZOONKAS WITH PAD MAGIC

Another author that's never seen a cat before. If you see a cat wagging its tail like that it ain't happy and you better hope it doesn't have claws
Avatar
I think the translator forgot the "TCH!"
Avatar
@Gauvain The explanation seems to be more like using aura doesn't expend it, it stays inside the body.
Avatar
@Kamikoto
what is written on page 12 does not seem logical to me

"it's nice how it doesen't run out like mana."
while it is written that the AURA comes from the body, so normally the reserve is limited and the production too,
while the MANA would come from outside, so it is limited only by what is nearby and the conversion speed

after all, it would not surprise me if it were just the author who would have written without thinking too much or giving too little detail in the explanation

And thank you for your work
