@Doomroar The moon doesn't know all she's just been observing humans very keenly for a very long time. She's mostly reflecting what she picked up. And yeah, she has made the odd slip or oversimplification. Still for a manga aimed at a general readership it is not pulling too many punches. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they touched on some of this stuff. They did kick off mostly talking about Newtonian physics and then layered in relativity and are now sprinkling quantum physics on top of this wonderful science cake. That said I wonder if they'll keep it firmly focused on physics or will move into biology or heck sociology which might have a bearing of fixing some of these societal problems which brought on that mess. Anyway, I wonder what the AI (I presume) wanted to keep people away from. |

So the excuse is that the Moon knows all there is to know, but dumbs it down to human level. However it within the excuse it also gets it wrong, since light is not the only thing that works that way: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-slit_experiment#Other_variations |
