I'm not sure whether it's easy or hard to have a happily married idiot couple as your boss.

On one hand, they're predictable enough in what they want, they're often in a good mood, and no uncomfortable domestic politics.
On the other, it rubs it in the face of those who are single, you have to go along with a lot of idiocy, and there's always an unspoken fear of running into an intimate situation you aren't welcome in when you enter a room.
