this story really deserves a better start than the cruddy gag strips the first 1/5th or so is. it matured really quickly.

the description sounds like a setup for a bad joke

This deserves more than a 6. Though my issue with it this season is that it's somewhat making Risa a scapegoat for dramatic arcs, and less about what else is going around the beautiful world.
( yes i know this season is probably about the salvation of risa, as it's probably intended to be. )
( the risa drama is gold though, not saying I don't like it; just hopefully it doesn't always circulate around the legendary gold digging priestess)

@nawoon b/c every1 apparently either rates this a 1 or a 10, some ppl love it, some ppl hate that the official translations is just slightly farther than the uploaded on MD

This was popular on Webtoon and one of my favs there, why is its rating so low?

if you go into it without expecting much, it's pretty enjoyable
like dig a fucking GROOVE for the bar of taste and put the bar in the groove
