@vannn, when I was speaking about gynocentric I was talking about most other authors. And in their case it's not just sparing any females from any consequences at the last second, but it is also about killing and harming males without a second thought. This work in particular is not something I would call gynocentric, because those women are saved not because they are women, but because they are closest people to protagonist. It still is, however, a plot armor, and I usually find it disappointing when it is done in such an obvious in-your-face way.

@evgenijm86 I'm not sure how constant rape and/or rape peril is gynocentric, even if the heroines get spared somewhat. it's just bad writing, or more likely titillation for his target audience (you and me).

@EvgenijM86 perhaps we should just give it time, I wouldn't put it passed something happening to one of the three female main leads before the series ends.
who knows the author might surprise us before this series is finished. but your right I can't remember anything like that happening to any of the main female leads in his other work from what I can remember.

I was a little bit disappointed with this series. Having seen that author give no mercy to some unimportant females of this world I have expected there would there would be no "hero saves the day at the last second, because nothing bad can happen to our heroine" troupe. But he did add it and both of his sister was saved either by him or by some some coincidence. I hate when authors become weak minded like that and are too afraid to play out things as they would in reality. In reality a band of barbarians that kidnapped your sister would not wait for a week for you come to save your sister - they would bang her right away, even if she was on her period.

Having said that, at least the author have the balls to let consequences play out for less important females. Most other author can't even do that and they must always be gynocentric white knight and let nothing bad happen to any females (while at the same killing unimportant males as if they were some ants).

I give it a 9 or 10. This is basically a 1 for people because of the rape scenes involved, which I understand but personally have no problem with. Some people just want to censor this kind of content with they're vote. I think they're misguided and wrong, but don't blame them for it. Content like this will always be niche, though I rather them not use the rating system in that way.

This has the right amount of edge so far. Not too much to make it too cringe, but just enough to make you wonder if it will go porn. Truth be told, at the end of the day, this is a 8/10 story. It drags out too long and the MC has too much 'skill' in some weird areas that in any reality wouldn't be like that. But the story is a fun read. 8/10.
