Class rep . . . seriously, what's up with this guy?

Hope MC can make it through without getting beat up again.

i mean, think of it this way. if your girlfriend told you "there's this guy i met on a chatroom who's been stalking me. he knows where i go to school and where i live" wouldn't you want to curb stomp his ass? as much as i want to hate the class rep, i don't see any reason to. he never even told MC what he meant by "stop this". for all we know, he thinks that he could be the stalker trying to get close to sugah again. he's been pretty nice to everyone. the only "bad" thing he did was beat the shit out of a stalker, but again, that guy was a creep and got what was coming to him. him "looking like a psycho" is just the author trying to make you think he's crazy. he's done nothing to actually back that up. for all we know the author is just fucking with us.

While it's undeniable that MC lied to Sungah he didn't do that in order to take advantage of her, he actually managed to help her with her crush. If he's gonna tell her, I think she would feel betrayed and they will fight, but after that they could still be friend in real life. Unless, of course, the reveal coincides with MC saving her from her abusive boyfriend, in which case she will be simply grateful to him.

@Lex79 Would the truth be best at this point? Yeah, because this is a manhwa and the story will somehow go down some weird path to show the truth would be best, but in the real world, secrets like these can be kept for the sake of not hurting anyone. Joonwoo already decided to never tell Sungah, and the class rep is reinforcing that. Maybe the class rep has the same reasons in mind, that the truth could only hurt right now.

I honestly hope this goes somewhere like Blue Flag, where the story paints a character as this psycho, horrible person and then shows that's all your prejudice. I know RanChat won't do that because it wouldn't make sense here, but I can still hope that the class rep isn't as crazy as the story is trying to make him look.

@Entryhazard even if we assume that what you are saying is true, look at class rep's behaviour. He isn't trying to talk to MC and convince him to tell Sungah the truth or to delete her contact to not hurt her. He immediately threatens him. Again, he doesn't look at all like a nice guy.

Class rep is definitely the psycho type and hopefully not the stalker type. MC should forget about sungah and get with yuri instead since she is real cool or hamin maybe since she rocks.

@Lex79 Sungah decided to be friend with the MC under premises that are false and Rep knows to be such. He didn't even tell MC do never meet her again, but to not do "that" again, which can easily be "showing up in a mask and lying to her about who you are"
Avatar
@Entryhazard no....just no. Sungah herself decided that she wanted to be friend with MC and meet him because she trusts him. No matter how much class rep can be worried about her, he cannot interfere in that way with her life. He can warn her about the risks, that she already knows, but he can't threaten other people to never meet her again.

@Lex79 the beating didn't happen that gratuitously, as he explictly does it because of the trouble and pain he caused to others; and after the stalker mentioning that the MC told him to stop already once, the Rep concluded that stomping him indeed was the only way to make him desist.
As far as everyone is concerned, Sungah still is his friend so "right" or not it makes sense to take issue with the MC for catfishing, as this deception in the end would cause her further pain.
He is dangerous and not that friendly, but more than because he suspects he has a crush on her, he has a beef with the MC constantly lying.

@Entryhazard usually being willing to use violence unless for self defence isn't a sign of being a nice guy. At least we know that he is violent, and that doesn't bode well for Sungah. And while MC didn't exectly make a good impression metting her with a mask, he always helped her as a friend and never pressured her to meet, it was the opposite. For Sungah he isa friend, and class rep has no right to threaten him behind her back. Plus, I have this feeling that he isn't really interested in her well-being, he simply doesn't want other guys around his property.

Well, as @Cleesus said, it's better if the MC finally move on.
He already got way too much trouble because ofSungah and class rep, it's better now if he focus on something else, like being friend again with his ex-best friend/bully, or becoming more confidant.

THe red hair girl will confess.

@Lex79 this gives us that Rep is not afraid to use violence, but it seems more vigilantism as he beat up a persistent stalker rather than an indication he is secretely evil.
Threatening the MC can easily be because he thinks he is a creep for catfishing Sungah, after all she was persecuted by a stalker and he showed up with a mask and lying all the time, raising definitely some flags despite we readers knowing he has no ill intent.
Also manipulating her and spreading false stories definitely seems beneath him.

I’m mean who cares about that girl and the class rep there are plenty of other women let the story move on from this shit already and focus on the other chicks or rebuilding his friendship

In chapter 16 he mercilessy beat up the stalker, so I'm not seeing him as a nice guy. Main problem is, he is probably going to convince Sungah to not ever talk anymore to MC, both in chat and in real life by making up some stories, and she's totally going to believe him. And MC will think that is better that way because Sungah doesn't need him and he doesn't deserve to be her friend. I expect the next chapters to be very painful to read.
